How we approach your wedding day

It’s all about you.

We favour candid shots over posed shots, so our goal is to get you to relax and be yourself. Easier said than done, we know. But trust us, we know what we’re doing.

We are very chilled and down to earth, and may ask you to do some crazy things. As you focus on doing something like picking up your partner, twirling around in circles or giving a piggyback ride, you may just forget there’s a camera on you and just enjoy being close to your partner.

We want you to give yourself over to feeling all the emotions that are a part of marrying the person of your dreams.

Our focus is to capture moments that are brimming with emotion and honesty… moments that are fun, adventurous and of course wildly romantic. For one couple it may be a soft kiss on the cheek, for another it might be one chasing the other down the road… it’s all about finding that connection between two people that just shouts out, “I am yours, and you are mine”.

We are led by the landscape, scoping out the scenery and surroundings to find the perfect spots for breathtaking backdrops. We have a thing for gorgeous sunsets and using natural light for different effects.

What fascinates us about weddings?

We love how people come together at a wedding to celebrate two people finding one another. Every time we shoot a wedding, we get to join in with the celebration… what could be more wonderful than that?

We enjoy meeting the families, from the oldest to the youngest, and count it a privilege to be a part of such a significant day for the bride and groom.

Everyone works together and puts in such a massive effort to make sure that the day is amazing in every way.

We love to meet new people!

It gives us immense satisfaction when we can draw out the best in people as we capture them with our lens. Our ultimate goal is to make you feel so comfortable and relaxed that you can truly be your authentic self… just you as you are when no one is looking. If you forget that we are there and just enjoy the experience, the result is something magical… both for you and us.

When can we expect our photos after the wedding?

If your wedding collection includes sneak peeks then I provide you with some sneak peek photos within 1-5 days after your wedding and the rest of your edited images within 2-4 weeks after the wedding date! I want you to get your images as soon as possible so you can relive your beautiful day.

How long have you been in business and how many weddings have you photographed?

I have been in the wedding industry for 10 years and have shot over 350 weddings. Photographing weddings is my absolute favourite thing to do, I still get excited about the bride walking down the aisle and seeing the grooms face. It is an absolute honour to be part of something so special.

Are all our photographs edited?

Yes, the images I photograph are all hand edited. My goal here is to keep the integrity of the photograph and to add to its overall quality by making subtle enhancements. I do this by using the latest lightroom and photoshop software. I want your images to be timeless, as relevant today as they will be 10,20,30, heck 50 years from now!

How many pictures do we get?

Depending on which package you chose, you could receive anywhere from 300 to 1400 images. That’s the difference between a 6hr (single photographer or 10hr (two photographers). With that being said, I always offer a guideline as to how many images you will receive based on my shooting style, but I never cap your images. That is, if I have suggested 300 images for a 6hr wedding but I photograph more, you will always receive the extra images. I want you to have all the memories, not my computer.

Are you fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and can you provide our chosen venue with certified proof of this?

Yes, I come fully vaccinated with a certification :).

Do you require a meal at the reception?

If I am at your reception, yes (dinner would be lovely thank you) like everyone, having a quick break to refuel keeps me at my best, capturing all the best memories of your day.
