Hi, I'm Bex! The photographer from Raw Design Media.

I love to capture moments and connections between people. The first excitable moments and the quiet emotions that follow, that moment when you see each other for the first time, the tears, the embrace, the first kiss, the full belly laughs during speeches, the niece and nephews having a dance, the proud mother/father/sister/brother/friend/sibling looking on in awe of the moment that is, grandpa telling wild and loving, memorable stories. They are all precious moments. I love being part of it. I am grateful for being part of it and getting to capture it all. It truly is an honour to be embraced by strangers (who by the way, feel more like extended family members by the end of a wedding) and being part of a day that is really special.

If you hire Raw Design Media you get me from start to finish. I answer your emails', meet you in person, I'll be the one photographing your engagement session and there from start to finish at your wedding! I'll edit each and every image in your gallery one photo at a time to ensure the best quality is delivered and I will be the face you see when you pick up your final package. I know how much time, fun and emotion goes into a wedding, because of this reason I only photograph a limited number of weddings a year so I can ensure I am completely present to capture your unique story. It isn't just a package of images that I handover at the end but a legacy of your fun filled day/night to be passed on to the next generation.

Some things about me...

I love my two little humans to your right. They make me so happy, so proud and crazy all within a half an hour span. They are my world. So when I am not photographing or editing, chances are I am out playing with these two munchkins.

I am a bit of a goof ball... I enjoy having a laugh and joking around, life is too short to take things too seriously ;) 

I love tea, chocolate, fresh cream donuts, olives and cheese and definitely not in that order ;) 

I love travelling and experiencing new things

I love to produce images that are both full and alive with colour while being natural and timeless, so you can preserve the memories/keepsakes forever.  Telling stories or evoking an emotion through my work is where I am happiest.
