When your beautiful Bride-to-be has to fly out the next day and you have no other opportunity to reschedule their engagement shoot, you have to shoot rain or shine. Which is exactly what we did, hiding under umbrellas and a useless rotunda (when the rain is coming in sideways). I have to admit it was so much fun, I couldn't stop giggling with this beautiful couple. This gorgeous lady with her hair and make up done, her beautiful dress and sandals, kept asking me if she could carry my bag full of equipment and held my brolly when we were walking over the wet beach! (Of course her wonderful Groom-to-be asked too, countless times). I can't wait to shoot your wedding in a months time, it's going to be stunning 😍
When I am not in the midst of wedding season and photographing gorgeous bride & grooms, I get to hang out with awesome people like Ellie and her one of a kind Australian Cattle Dog, Flick! I seriously have the best job!!
These two were the absolute cutest and had the most amazing bond. We pottered around Ellie's parents property stopping in different locations to snap the pair as they hang out and even though it was one of the windiest afternoons imaginable, we got some beautiful shots.
Originally Ellie was given a Raw Design Media gift card for her birthday to have an equine photoshoot with her (then) clydesdale horse, but as luck turned out Ellie and her horse were not a good fit and we ended up having Ellie's portrait session with her pal Flick.
Flick was a rescue dog, who was born with an unusual birth defect which caused her nose to split down the middle. Ellie welcomed this (then) puppy into her home and not long after, her heart. I think her nose looks like a little love heart don't you!
