This gorgeous engagement album, being sent off today!
Far out I love my job 😍
When a Bride and Groom to-be, ask to have their horses and dogs part of their engagement shoot… It’s always, yes! Yes! Yes!
When you love each other this much, you can't not, rock your engagement session! ❤️🙌
You made my day Bec ❤️😘🙏 18 days until we do it all again for your wedding 😍
"The photos are amazing!!! You have done an awesome job!!! We are so happy you're our photographer!" Bec -
This Engagement shoot at the Sunshine Coast has me oohing and ahhing all over again! I love when couples are adventurous and are up for something different. When Chris and Diana asked to have their Engagement shoot at the Sunshine Coast Pine forest, and I suggested tagging on a short hike up a mountain to capture a sunset after, I wasn’t expecting for them to say yes. I am so glad they did!
When people book me in to Photograph a wedding, and their engagement shoot, I always hear things like “we don’t like being in front of the camera”, “my fiance hates photos”, “I don’t know what to do in front of the camera”, or “I always feel awkward in front of the camera”. Don’t worry, I get it. In fact, I hear these phrases so often, it’s unusual for me to get a booking without one of the phrases tagged on. It is my job to make you look awesome in front of the camera. Yes I have some kick arse equipment, yes I can read the light like a pro, yes I am friendly and love to have a laugh with you, yes the images will be hand edited, individually after with care… What I can also do, is read body language and get the most out of my clients during a session by giving them certain verbal cues, to help them relax. Getting them to stand a certain way, or whisper something in her ear, or close your eyes, or move your chin towards the sun, or hold hands, whatever it takes, to ensure I get the shots I need to handover a gallery after our session. Remember it is up to your photographer to produce beautiful photos. Let them do all the work.
When your beautiful Bride-to-be has to fly out the next day and you have no other opportunity to reschedule their engagement shoot, you have to shoot rain or shine. Which is exactly what we did, hiding under umbrellas and a useless rotunda (when the rain is coming in sideways). I have to admit it was so much fun, I couldn't stop giggling with this beautiful couple. This gorgeous lady with her hair and make up done, her beautiful dress and sandals, kept asking me if she could carry my bag full of equipment and held my brolly when we were walking over the wet beach! (Of course her wonderful Groom-to-be asked too, countless times). I can't wait to shoot your wedding in a months time, it's going to be stunning 😍
I was over the moon when Jemma and James asked if I would travel to Dalby to photograph their engagement shoot on their farm. I love travelling and photographing in new destinations and this farm was simply breathtaking. I knew as soon as I drove up the old dusty road and parked out the front of the property, that the shoot would be special. Jemma and James then came out to greet me, all smiles and welcoming and I instantly felt we were a perfect match for each other. I can't wait for their wedding this March!
A real life love story about two people who meet on holiday in Vegas - An Aussie bloke and an American girl. Who can't bare to be apart and make the move to be together. I can't wait for their wedding this month!
I can't believe I am only just getting around to blog this engagement shoot! Only another 3 engagement shoots and 4 weddings to blog before I am up to date !!

We had a crazy busy weekend over here at Raw Designs with five photo shoots shot over the past three days. A record for us! All getting in before we head off next week to shoot a wedding in Hervey Bay. Stay tuned to see the highlights over the next coming weeks of the three individual family shoots a newborn session & the beautiful engagement shoot below.
The following engagement shoot was shot over two locations. Our first location was here at the Mister Fitz Ice-cremery, which was simply gorgeous! The ice-cream tasted amazing too... Just saying.. We then moved on to New Farm park and shot around the Powerhouse and finished off with some sunset photo's in the park itself. I can't wait to show you the second location!! Here are some highlights. I am finally getting around to blogging Katie + Ethan's engagement session from the end of July! That's how behind I am eeeeekkkk... Seeing as they flew in from Townsville for their session, we thought an afternoon in the city was fitting. Ethan may, or may not have known a bit more about Southbank than I did though... :) I hope you guys enjoyed your dinner after.
I had so much fun with this beautiful couple, at Kangaroo Point. It was an absolute stunner of an afternoon and these guys really turned it up for the camera. I can't wait to shoot their wedding in October, it sounds wonderful. Bex x
